By Fryd Magazine

As I'm addicted to beautiful photos and interiors, new e-magazine By Fryd instantly draw my attention. Created by Jeanette Lunde from FRYD + DESIGN blog, is full of amazing and inspiring stuff, like home decor, gorgeous flowers, baby things, inspirational quotes and much, much more… I'm in love with its layout - clean and simple, mostly in pastel shades, yet with hints of color here and there. I'm definitely a true fan of it and just can't wait to see another issue.

P.S. Here are some of my favorite images, but there is much more to admire...

PIP Studio - Happy products for Happy People

To some she is Anke, others call her Catharina but everyone knows her as PiP - a nickname she was given from an early age. PiP is the product designer and creator of PiP Studio, based in the Netherlands.

PiP's inspiration comes from designing products that she could never find but always wanted. Her vision on her designs is actually quite simple, practical and sincere: “If I make a product, it has to be so good that I would like to keep it myself or if I give it to a friend or member of the family it must bring a little bit of joy and happiness. Without this emotion, it cannot be a true PIP product”. That's why all PIP’s products must meet her motto: ‘Happy products for Happy People’.

Her style has a warm and charming character. She often uses a mix and match concept with layered patterns and has a sharp eye for tiny details and special finishing touches combined with a subtle color pallet.

She is also a true busy bee who never stops. Since she set up her studio, she has created many things like: a bed & bath collection of duvet covers, quilts, cushions, and bath and beach towels; a series of mugs; a collection of wallpaper; a lovely breakfast service named ‘Lovebirds’; a collection of tableware, table-cloths, runners and napkins and many , many other stunning products.

Pure whiteness

Some people hate all in white interiors, thinking that they are boring, uninviting and difficult to maintain. Well, I'm definitely not one of those people. I looove white spaces. They're like a clean canvas, so pure, just like a breath of fresh air.

Beach cottage kitchen

I know I haven't been posting for a while, but lately I just can't concentrate on anything. It's like somebody would gave me a huge shot of energy and now I'm running from place to place and just can't stop. But I would try to do my best and post a little bit more. And so here is a fabulous kitchen. If I ever had a beach cottage I would like to have kitchen like this. All white with splashes of aqua blue - love it!!!

Style at home

Bedroom personality

They say that you should never judge book by its cover. But what about the bedroom? Does the look of the bedroom reflects the personality of its owner? Here are some bedrooms - each in a different style, revealing different personality: Elegant Classic, Boho Oriental, Sensual Romantic, Famme Fatale, Sparkling Glamour, Hip & Funky, Royal Opulence and Simply Natural. So, what type of bedroom personality are you?

Elegant Classic:

A woman with impeccable taste, pretty prim and proper. Always good looking, impossibly perfect. Elegant lady with sterling manners. Very sophisticated, sometimes might seems a little bit high and mighty. She's uber classy and prefers clean, straight lines and rather neutral colors.

Boho Oriental:

A spiritual traveler. Loves everything that's ethnic and oriental with taste tending to gravitate towards exotic-looking pieces like tribal or floral prints and gypsy layering. She's type of creative individualist, who's not afraid of colors, often in deeper, richer hues.

Sensual Romantic:

Eternal dreamer, who's deeply sensitive. She's very mysterious and full of secrets. Sometimes might seem a little bit shy and introvert, like she's been living in her own world. Prefers soft, pastel colors and sensual, delicate fabrics.

Famme Fatale:

Is like a bright red bowl of spicy cherries. She's certainly not shy, and loves to spice things up. Devilishly sultry, always fueled by passion. Type of frisky extravagant, who prefers hot red hues.

Sparkling Glamour:

Glittering and glowing Icy princess. Loves bedazzled things, and all that shines. Sparkling from head to toe, might seems a little bit haughty and sometimes appear quite icy.

Hip & Funky:

She's totally fun and tooty fruity. Cheerful, never gloomy. Always in high spirits, ready to have fun. Genuinely gleeful and ridiculously sweet. Frisky and optimistic. Her world is an explosion of color.

Royal Opulence:

Favorably ostentatious, she's a woman with fierce confidence. Has an expensive taste and it utterly over the top. Loves to lavishes herself in luxury, that's why she looks like a Million dollar. Direct, strong and authority-like persona, who always make a strong statement.

Simply Natural:

Nature lover. A person with a calming influence, always very carrying and warm. She respects and cares for the environment and likes to feel comfortable. That's why she surround herself with everything that's natural and simple. Prefers light, earthy colors with very few details.

Wallpapered wall

Lately I'm into wallpaper. But not as an alternative to paint, but rather as a addition. So instead of having all walls covered, I much more prefer to have it only on the one wall, as a nice accent to the room. I think that wallpaper, used in such a way, makes a great statement and totally alter the look of whole space. Just like in the rooms below - don't they look great?!

Amazing fashion illustrations by Sophie Griotto

I'm in love with works of French fashion illustrator, Sophie Griotto. She's sooooo talented!!! Inspired by the contemporary urban woman and using tools such as: pencils, pastel crayons and digital techniques, she creates amazing illustrations -really vivid, colorful, feminine and dynamic. Absolutely loooove it!!!
