DIY: Wallpapered wall

When I was younger, all walls of my room were covered in wallpaper. So when I finally got ride of it, I've decided to never have wallpaper on my walls again. Unexpectedly lately I'm again into wallpapers, especially when they cover only one wall of the room, making a great statement and being an amazing accent. That's why I've decided to wallpaper one of my walls. And so, here is my pick and the place, where I want to put it.

Spring inspiration moodboard

As I'm recently in looove with combination of gray & yellow and also lemon chiffon & aqua, my choice of colors for spring was obvious. I'm also fed up with black accents, which I gather during a winter a lot, and so now I've decided to replace them with the silver and glass ones. It means that I have to but maaaaaany new frames for my pictures… I also would love to have a white brick wall - lately I'm obsessed with it. And I would really like to buy a white, swivel chair. However I'm still not sure where I'll put it, while I kind of don't have free space for it...

DIY: mannequin - lamp

I'm so thrilled, because yesterday I've finally managed to do my mannequin - lamp. Maybe it isn't as perfect as brand new one, but overall I'm pretty happy with what I've achieved. And here are some photos of my new lamp, however the quality isn't so good, while my camera has a focus problem.

Less is more - part 2

I looove redesigning my room. To be honest, there isn't a single day I don't think about it. It's almost like I'm obsessed. I constantly think about what I can change or which furniture rearrange. I must admit that during my little remodeling projects I've made some mistakes. However I think that each experience is good (even if the outcome isn't exactly what you wish for), because it allows you to learn something new.

For example I've learned how important is editing. I'm rather type of minimalist, so having too many objects isn't good for me. And as I now look at the photo of my room from June, I must admit that it doesn't look good. So as one of my motto is "Less is more", I've made some changes and turn more into less.

Less is more

I’ve decided to follow my new motto, which is „Less is more”, and so I’ve made some changes In my room. I figured out that instead of heaving two pieces of furniture, I would better think of something, that will combine their functions. So after considering few options, like for example buying something new (which btw wasn’t really an option while temporary I’m out of money), I’ve decided to throw away one piece and rotate the other one, so now it looks totally different. And this is the final result of my “little room revolution”.

New addition to my room

For a while now, I've been crazy about mannequin. I thought that, it could not only be used as a hanger, but it also would be a great decoration to my room. So finally I decided to buy one, and so now I've got it.

Damaged wall

When it comes to my room, I'm a constant changer. I'm never satisfied with what I've done already. And recently I was trying to hang my shelf somewhere else. Unfortunately part of my wall had fell off, and so there was a huge hole in the middle. And it looked like that:

But fortunately I've already repaired it and now, it really doesn't look so bad.

P.S. Here are some more photos of my room.
