Cottage House Renovation

Recently I’ve been doing small renovation of my cottage house. A little bit of painting, rearranging and throwing away some unused stuff. The first room is already finished and this is how it looks like now.

Make up the bed

I simple looove those sleeping arrangements by Atelje Alt. They all look so comfy and neatly.  I really can’t decide which one is my favourite

Eclectic Scandinavian Mix

There are so many things I looove about this fabulous apartment! It’s an amazing mix of old and new, rawness and coziness, muted and bold. On the one hand full of contradiction, yet harmonious somehow.  I like the white, shabby chic dining room with one mismatching, pink chair, that just pops out. And the living room… just mind blowing - wooden beams on the ceiling and on one of the walls,  set together with concrete fireplace.  Amazing dresser with antlers hanging above. Not to mention magnificent gray piano. Simply looooove it!!!

Danish home style

I looove this stylish apartment near Copenhagen which sums up Danish style. This turn-of-the-century home belongs to Hanne and Søren Berzant. I adore the untreated floorboards and white surfaces broken up with paintings, photos, candles, books and natural objects like twigs, sheepskin rugs, antlers or even skulls.

Amazing teeny tiny studio apartment

This tiny studio apartment, designed by WCH Interior, is realy amazing. The clever layout allows to hold everything that is needed, and at the same time appear soo sleek and comfy.

There are so many things to do and so little time. I do loove blogging, but it takes a while. Maybe that is why recently I've been more active on Tumblr. It's quicker, and yet full of inspiring images.  So if you want to check out with what I've been lately obsessed, please come and visit my Tumblrs:

Kinetic Rain

In the Singapore Airport, ART+COM created an amazing art installation. “Kinetic Rain” is composed of two parts, each consisting of 608 rain droplets made of lightweight aluminum covered with copper. Suspended from thin steel ropes above the two opposing escalators, each droplet is moved by a computer-controlled motor hidden in the ceiling. The drops follow a 15-minute, computationally designed choreography where the two parts move together in unison, creating an sometimes mirroring, sometimes complementing, and sometimes responding to each other - simply breathtaking!

Hilary Swank's Manhattan Retreat

This amazing tranquil 1,400-square-foot New York City apartment, which belong to an actress Hilary Swank. It was designed by Mark Zeff, with whom she’d worked previously on her California house. I looove the brownish-gray tones of the apartment and the clean-lined furniture, mostly from the Calvin Klein Home collection. And I adore the wall in the living area, which is clad with planks of reclaimed barn wood – simply stunning!
