A modern version of a pin-up girl

I love beautiful lingerie as much as I love amazing photography, so I was really enthusiastic about the new Spring/Summer 2010 collection for French lingerie company Passionata. The pictures were shot by great photographer Greg Kadel, who did an amazing job at capturing Israeli model Bar Refaeli as a modern version of a pin-up girl. And of course gorgeous lingerie, that is both girly and flirty. Fresh colors, delicate laces and funny flounces - what more could a girl want...

It's all about lighting details

I loooove the sleek chicness of this apartment. The way in which architectural details make this monochromatic room, looks interesting. I also like its furnishing, like shiny silver console table. But the things that make me really crazy, are stunning lamps. The fabulous chrome Arco floor lamp, the Artichoke lamp above the table, and the one, looking like film studio lamp - just adore them.

Favorite Combos - Yellow & Gray

I wish it was spring already. But luckily a few last days were quite sunny and so a flame of hope appeared, that soon winter will be gone. The snow will slowly melt and a green leaves will start to appear. Yep, it would be so lovely… But now, all I can hopefully see, are gray sidewalks with just splashes of sunshine reflections. However I must admit that this color combination, when it comes to a different objects, looks quite good.

Dior handbags & film noir ads for s/s 2010

I looove the Dior's handbags - the classic and sophisticated designs and the quilted structure. Made with superior craftsmanship, truly reflect the distinctive Christian Dior style.

I also like the new Christian Dior Spring/Summer 2010 ad campaign, featuring model Karlie Kloss. Great photos taken by Steven Miesel, show her in shady, through -the-blind lighting, wearing very alluring clothing and makeup. This mysterious and seductive atmosphere, brings a film noir spell.

The model also shows off two Dior's bags - the mini-briefcase bag in python and a larger, black Birkin-like. I just can't wait to see more.

Deborah Needleman - The Domino's woman

To launch a magazine and make it one of the most amazing inspirations, is a huge achievement, that takes a special combination of talent and passion. Deborah Needleman, after being a picture editor, then writing about gardens and design for The New York Times, and being an editor at large for USA House & Garden, decided to launch The Domino magazine, which mission was to make stylish decorating accessible to all. She also co-authored Domino: The Book of Decorating, which not only contains the best of Domino's interiors images but is also a fantastic resource that you can return to again and again.

I truly admire her sophisticated aesthetic and her fabulous Tribeca loft in New York City. The way she designed it, by making a big living room looks like there were different areas. I like the combination of classic furniture with modern pieces, like the lucite coffee table. The color palette is refreshing and natural and gives a calm and simple look that makes it a peaceful place to live.

In the master bedroom, I love the chair in the corner and the headboard that Needleman designed herself. Because of it, room looks simple yet chic.

I truly regret that Domino is no longer being published.

P.S.

She also created a great quiz StyleScope, that helps to discover your own personal style and will give you some advice on how to make your style work in your home. Mine result is Elegant Classic, and yours?

Classic Sophistication with a Modern Twist

Fabulous apartment in coffee shades. Brown, cream and white with touches of color, that pop up unexpectedly. I looove the clean lines of furniture that give a feeling of classic sophistication. And at the same time some accent pieces, like olive chair in the living room or pop-art paintings give a modern twist and allow to take everything with pinch of salt.

Amazing DIY home office renovation

I've been a big fan of Jennifer Ramos from Made By Girl for a while now. I truly admire her aesthetic and a fabulous blog, full of colorful and inspirational design ideas. And now, I fall in love in her new home office. It's so bright, clean and spacious. I adore the macintosh rose wallpaper by Graham & Brown, and fabulous curtains by West Elm (they are in such a great shade). More photos of this amazing space you can see here.

At the Top of the World

If somebody would ever told me, that I have five minutes to pack all my stuff, in order to move to one of those apartments - he wouldn't have to wait for me even a minute. OMG!!! That's all I'm able to say, when I see them. All those windows, the view, the feeling of space - it literally took my breath away...
