Glass House

Have you ever dreamt about having home that is full of light ? Photographer Nick Olson and designer Lilah Horowitz manage to do build fabulous house made of windows for less then 500 dollars.

One day couple went for a walk through the family estate. The amazing view bathed in the setting sun, inspired them to create a place where the intensity of a light would change depending on the time of the day. And so they decided to make their dream come true. They quit their jobs and started to build their dream house made of windows. Once they collected all the needed materials (most of them they found, got from abandoned buildings, some they bought), they begun the construction process. They built the entire structure by themselves, with their own hands and hard work.  But the final effect was worth it. The glass house looks like from some kind of fairy tale.  And they say, that they like it the most at night, when you feel like you were sleeping almost under the stars and fireflies fly behind the windows.

More details about the project in the documentary below:

Modern mid century house remodel

This interior remodeling project by Jessica Helgerson, is simply fabulous. She managed to convert ranch house into an amazing modern mid century house with bright and airy great rooms. I like the color palette with dark ebonized floors, white walls, and splashes of various shades of green. And I looove all the furnishing, especially the gorgeous rocking chaise in the living room.

Paying a visit to: Keri Russell

What I love about Keri Russell’s house is that it’s full of contradictions. Monochromatic, with dominance of light, white spaces, but at the same time so warm and cozy. A little bit rustic, but in a modern way. And there are so many details I like about this house. Fabulous pine floors, my favorite white brick wall in the dressing room, an amazing light fixtures in the living and dining room, and gorgeous freestanding claw-foot tub.

Elle Decor

Villa Amanzi

The villa Amanzi by Original Vision studio is simply amazing. This cascade house grows from a rocky reef and has a stunning view at Adnaman see in the city of Phuket, Thailand. It’s the perfect example of a structure, that accentuates harmony of the exterior and interior. Loooove it!

Fabulous Villa in Costa Rica by Robles Arquitectos

This incredible beach Villa in Costa Rica designed by Robles Arquitectos is simply stunning! The house is wonderfully situated on a small hill above the ocean, 20km away from any town. The terrace on the first level hosts activities like investigation, meditation, training and yoga and the second level of the house is used as a home. What’s more the house is 100% self-sufficient, while a natural source of potable water is used to draw water and solar power offers the electricity. But foremost I adore the openness of the space, the union of interior with exterior – loooove it!
