Coco Rocha - she has it all

Coco Rocha is definitely my favorite supermodel. And whoever said that models are only about pretty look, without a great personality, has never met Coco Rocha. Being scouted at a dance competition, she quickly transformed from an average Irish-dancing, nature-loving Canadian teenager to the catwalk superstar. If you want to know something more about her, just check out her amazing blog Oh So Coco. And here is a fabulous photoshoot of her for Flare magazine by Chris Nicholls. I so much looove the look of her face and poses - so expressive!

And now Coco Rocha, together with Georgia May Jagger, have also become the new faces of British makeup brand Rimmel. Here is her first new commercial and a short video about making it. I adore her fresh, girly look...

DIY: mannequin - lamp

I'm so thrilled, because yesterday I've finally managed to do my mannequin - lamp. Maybe it isn't as perfect as brand new one, but overall I'm pretty happy with what I've achieved. And here are some photos of my new lamp, however the quality isn't so good, while my camera has a focus problem.

Michael Kors spring/summer 2010 collection

What would it be if Lady Gaga moved to Park Avenue? You can see by checking out a new Spring/Summer 2010 collection of Michael Kors. I loooove it!!!!!! It's sleek, urban and optimistic - just like spring in the city. It's got everything that modern woman needs - simplicity, graphic punch, soft hints of color and amazing details.

Simple, tailored shapes, where black plays against white, and fresh, cold hues, like sky blue, pistachio, gray, silver, white or lilac, mix and shine. And zipper accents - just perfection. They give a great modern vibe to the mostly classic silhouettes. I would so much like to have at least a few of those pieces...

Favorite Combos - Lemon Chiffon & Aqua

Finally, spring has come. The sky is lightly blue and the sun is shinning gently. Each day is longer than the previous and it's getting warmer outside. So glad that the cold season is already over.

Amanda Brooks's book on style

The former muse and creative director for designer label Tuleh, and a New York-based fashion consultant, Amanda Brooks is a fashion chameleon with an amazing taste and an eye for the elements of personal style. I'm dying to read her recently published book I Love Your Style: How to Define and Refine Your Personal Styl, where she tries to help women find their own personal style. Part scrapbook, part inspiration board, and part cultural history, it describes Brooks's own long road of defining the difference between fashion and style, cataloging her icons and different looks, such as : bohemian, minimal, high fashion, street, eclectic, cheap chic, vintage and classic.

As she claims, the style is actually the result of hard work. "My greatest belief about clothes is that style does not come to you unless you pay attention to it". And when it comes to finding your own style she says, "I just feel that fashion is about inspiration and each person finding their own, and I don't feel like it's up to me to tell people what's right for them, (…) I just think you should wear what you're comfortable in". So don't expect that she will tell you what to wear or how to wear it. But with her help you'll figure it out for yourself, just like she did, through trial, error, careful study, and soul-searching, because the cruel truth about personal style is that it cannot be bought off the rack or cribbed from someone else.

Paying a visit to: Thomas O'Brien

There’s nothing as fabulous as New York loft, especially if it looks like the one of Thomas O'Brien, an accomplished interior designer and the founder of Aero Studios. I looove the amazing tall pair of windows, that seemed to let the whole city in. A few, simple but refined furniture, create airy and modern space. Feeling of clean and serene atmosphere, is achieved also by using soothing palate, with whites, beiges and cool grays contrasted with black details. Carefully chosen several pieces of art and sculpture are just the perfect addition, that make the space more unique and personal.

Behind the scenes of Julia Roberts for Lancome

I looove Julia Roberts - she's a beautiful woman and foremost an amazing actress. And now she has also been made the brand ambassador of cosmetic giant Lancome. She has already posed for her first ad shoot with famed photographer Mario Testino, and here is behind the scenes video from the Lancome Hypnose Precious Cells mascara. She looks incredible and the capture of white roses at the beginning - simply stunning.

Fashion & Fantasy

Enchanted places, amazing dresses, beautiful woman & foremost fabulous photography by Steven Meisel for Vogue - what can I say more...

Loft like gallery in SoHo

I loooove this loft, located in a classic 19th-century industrial building, in the heart of SoHo, by Heiberg Cummings Design. Oak floors, brick walls, high ceilings, oversize windows and graphic clarity create a clean and modern interior, that just screams 'New York'. Painted white walls and luxurious, clean-lined, mostly monochromatic furnishings are the perfect backdrop for a fabulous photography collection - giving the loft the look of a gallery.

Paying a visit to: Malene Birger

The home of Danish fashion designer Malene Birger, amazingly shows a transition of her aesthetic, from effortlessly chic fashion into the fabulous cophenhagen home. Done in neutrals, mostly hues of black and white, with the careful attention to the smallest detail. Stunning space, full of different patterns, textures and foremost pictures.

Lucky Fifth Avenue residents

Lucky those few, who live on Fifth Avenue. I simply adore the apartment remodeled by the New York firm Shelton, Mindel & Associates, featured in Architectural Digest. The classical look with fabulous graphic punch of contrasting lines. Lovely, neutral colors accentuate the remaining classical details (baseboards, chair rails, cornices), giving a sophisticated vibe. Personally, my favorite space is dining room. The gray on the walls has just the perfect shade, that wonderfully complements black blinds and white moldings. I also love how some elements appear in three, creating the feeling of harmony and order.
