Paying a visit to: Malene Birger

The home of Danish fashion designer Malene Birger, amazingly shows a transition of her aesthetic, from effortlessly chic fashion into the fabulous cophenhagen home. Done in neutrals, mostly hues of black and white, with the careful attention to the smallest detail. Stunning space, full of different patterns, textures and foremost pictures.

Lucky Fifth Avenue residents

Lucky those few, who live on Fifth Avenue. I simply adore the apartment remodeled by the New York firm Shelton, Mindel & Associates, featured in Architectural Digest. The classical look with fabulous graphic punch of contrasting lines. Lovely, neutral colors accentuate the remaining classical details (baseboards, chair rails, cornices), giving a sophisticated vibe. Personally, my favorite space is dining room. The gray on the walls has just the perfect shade, that wonderfully complements black blinds and white moldings. I also love how some elements appear in three, creating the feeling of harmony and order.

Pillow in shades of sidewalks & sun reflections

I told you, that recently I'm fascinated about the combination of yellow and gray. And so I just couldn't hold back from buying a fabulous pillow in those colors. Even though yellow doesn't really mach my room decor, hopefully I will find some way to smuggle it somehow. And if not, then maybe I'll use it another time, during my next redecoration.

Lovely Ads: Salvatore Ferragamo S/S 2010

I adore the new ad campaign of Salvatore Ferragamo's Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. Mario Testino did a wonderful job, featuring Claudia Schiffer in chic outfits, bags, shoes and timelessly elegant scarves. These fabulous photos have been taken in Monte Carlo in Monaco, which only emphasize the glamorous, aristocrat look.

Exotic getaway part 2

As the weekend getaway continues, I would like to invite you into this fabulous house. Where you can feel exotic vibe not only by watching beautiful views, but also by admiring amazing interiors. Lots of magnificent wood with touches of gray and red. And the stone floor in the bedroom - definitely positively surprising. This house is so exquisite, yet simple and comfortable - just the perfect place to relax...

Exotic getaway

As I'm recently really sick of constantly changing weather, when in one second the sun is shinning, giving hope for longer, warmer days, while in the other, the cold wind is blowing and it snows, reminding that it is still winter. So what about little change of climate? Here are some photos of exotic places, which I really enjoy a lot. Don't hesitate - join me in admiring them and have a nice weekend getaway...

Apartment, where opposites interact

This great apartment, is a fabulous example of an interior, where the space, not furniture or accessories, plays the main role. The modern, sophisticated, yet comfortable combination of whites, grays and wood. I simply looove the interaction of different textures - like the coldness of the concrete and stone, with the warmness of the wood and fabrics. And the dark ceiling - just stunning, I wouldn't even dare to think about doing something like that. Ohhh, I really do love this interior!
